| Inspiration Behind The Solid Rock Collection |

The Solid Rock Collection caters to the Rock Star and Rock Star-at-heart, and was created out of my love for vintage rock'n'roll. Memories of my older sisters playing records from bands like Poison and Blondie came flooding back, so I bought the mp3s to play while working on jewellery designs in my studio.
As a "Westie", growing up in Western Sydney, I remember going to many a Blue-Light Disco. These were under 18's disco events organised by local Police for the youngsters of the area. Big hair, skin-tight denim and hard rock music. What a night! The raw energy that converted Scout hall held on that one night a month was almost enough to straighten our fiercly permed hair.   To mix it up a little, a few traditional tattoo designs have been included in the Solid Rock Collection. These represent one of the most commonly worn accessory (along with leather and studs) adorning the arms of many a Rocker.
Upon it's launch in February 2009, Rock Solid has 15 ring designs, and 4 designs for ID bracelets and Pendants. Each season will see me adding more designs to this range, which I see as the Glam Rock Emporium's core Collection. The Solid Rock Collection is available in SOLID Sterling Silver, as well as 18ct Gold for true Rock Glamour! |
